Israeli Cleantech CBH New Israeli Phone: 972.3.7208034
Enhancing already strong Cleantech relationships in Israel is a priority that
directly benefits our clients. - For
a nation of 7 million people, comprising the size of New Jersey, Israel has a remarkable Cleantech industry.
- Of the over 500 Cleantech companies recognized by the Israeli government, at least
186 specialize in Water Technologies.
- Renewable
Energy is another primary focus of Israeli world-class efforts.

“Israel’s Cleantech Predicted to Reach Legendary
Status” by Minnesota Environmental Expert
For Immediate Release -
December 3, 2008
“I’m returning to Israel with Minnesota’s Trade Mission of business, government
and civic leaders, led by Governor Pawlenty. With Israel, a courageous US ally whose people appreciate environmentally savvy
Americans, the opportunities for partnership are many,” commented Brian H. Davis. He recently attended the Green Economy
2008 Conference in Tel Aviv and held individual meetings with exciting Israeli Cleantech businesses, especially in the water
technology and alternative energy areas.
“With over 500 Cleantech start-ups, the potential is clearly there.
One well-established favorite is E. P. C. Ltd., whose waste water treatment technologies for small and medium-sized applications
are very interesting. Inspecting one of E. P. C. ‘s hundreds of successful treatment installations in Israel and Europe
was a highlight of my trip,” according to Davis. Davis is also collaborating with a number of additional businesses.
“Israel’s reputation for technological innovation is world class. Voice mail technology, USB-Flash Drives,
ingestible pill-sized video cameras and AOL Instant Messenger are a few important Israeli inventions. My environmental law
and in-house corporate experience lead me to predict that Israel’s Cleantech prowess will also reach legendary status,”
comments Brian H. Davis.
The Minnesota Trade Delegation leaves for Israel on December 11, 2008. Cleantech is one
of many aspects represented by the diverse Delegation. Brian H. Davis President Environmental

Israeli
Technological Innovation Amidst Terrorist Rockets
For Immediate Release
While Israel must stop Hamas
terrorist rocket and mortar attacks on civilians, Hamas openly hopes that Israeli response results in inadvertent collateral
damage. Their longstanding purpose to destroy Israel prevents the terrorists from ever supporting peace.
Less
obvious and rarely reported, is Israeli technological innovation’s improvement of the global human condition, despite
daily terrorist attacks. In addition to leading Cleantech, like water desalinization, treatment and irrigation technologies,
Israelis have invented many high tech products, like AOL Instant Messenger, voice mail, USB flash drives and the first ingestible
camera pill.
In stark contrast, Hamas’ technological innovation consists of strapping explosives to children
on homicide missions against civilians and using human shielding at terrorist military installations.
Measured
self defense against daily terrorist rocket attacks is critical for any free society to protect its citizens and survive.
This benefits Israeli Arab citizens, who vote and elect legislators to the nation’s Kinneset.
While Hamas
prevents peace, Israel remains a democratic, peaceful and productive, yet tiny nation. What nation but Israel, smaller than
the state of New Jersey, warns its enemies by cell phone and leaflets to evacuate before hitting military targets? Israel
deserves global recognition for its technological contributions during its humane defense against irrational terrorists.
Brian H. Davis was in Israel for nearly 4 weeks during November and December, 2008. He was a Delegate on the
Minnesota Trade Mission to Israel as an environmental attorney and traveled with his Father on a prior trip. |

Environmental Solutions Born in Israel “The Nation of Israel is blessed with a diverse and
innovative population” stated Brian H. Davis. Davis presented to the Tel Aviv Bar Association’s Environmental
Law Section on November 18, 2008. “Not only does Israel have the third most corporate listings on NASDAQ, following
the US and Canada, but many of these and far more start-ups are engaged in Cleantech, including environmental products and
services and alternative energy.” “Cleantech entrepreneurs here are certainly world-class. The spirit
and skills of these Israelis are even more impressive than I imagined!” Davis, traveling in Israel with his father,
is enjoying meeting entrepreneurs in this rare Middle East democracy. “Israeli environmental attorneys
provide critical support to their business clients in compliance matters. “Beyond compliance” legal advice to
support green business actions is increasingly appreciated by business leaders to help differentiate their organization, cut
costs and support sustainable, long-term growth.” Recommended web resources, with many examples, are: www.greenprophet.com www.cleanisrael.com |
